As with any savory and dainty confection, All the necessary ingredients must be measured to perfection, Thoroughly blended, and carefully baked with temperature and time, Cooled to just the right degree, layered in sweetness, perfectly sublime. We are God’s confection; our preparation could require many a year. Ingredients may vary from sweet to bitter, some fetching a sneeze, some bringing a tear. Placed in God’s blender of trial and tribulation, turned up on high, We may endure pain, though He never forgets us; our prayers keep Him nigh. God meticulously labors over His confection, with measured step, Carefully kneading and patiently waiting, placing us in a temperate oven of spiritual depth. At just the right moment, He brings us out to cool into His Celestial Air; He savors the aroma, then applies His Heavenly sweetness, a peculiar confection, extraordinaire. We may endure many things in life we do not understand; Just remember God does not forget us, He always has a plan. We are His Creation, His beloved Children, the apple of His Eye; If we patiently walk His walk, His we are, even after we die.
