God admonished the church at Ephesus one day, “I have somewhat against thee.” I see your good works, but “Because thou hast left thy first love,” you have not pleased Me. Your first love is precious to Me, it is My heart’s desire and My cherished possession; Without it, all your diligent works amount only to a carnal regression. Without faith, your good works are only filthy rags in My sight; Without faith, it is impossible to please Me, and to make things right. Faith worketh by love, which is My heart’s desire; It is the fragrance of My kingdom – the first fruits of your salvation’s require. Your first love is the cornerstone of My Bride’s adorning and sacred duty; Without it, My Bride loses her comeliness, luster, and beauty. All the fruits of My Holy Spirit will flow from that love and be manifested, If you seek Me first, and desire Me most, above all your labors, duly invested. When we deny our flesh to walk in the Spirit, and with a thankful heart, seek His face, This will stir the Holy Ghost fire, and entreat God’s favor, and loving embrace. When obedience and submission to God’s will becomes more important than our pleasant food, A honeymoon passion will God ignite, as the result of His Bride’s attitude.
