There is another side of life few people ever see;
Ye must be born-again, or this life can never be. A repented soul is lead by the Holy Spirit, God’s Author and Guide, To a beautiful world of grace and mercy, rich and wide.

In spirit and in truth, the Father seeketh our praise
With our hearts, and with our souls, as with our hands we raise, With reverential fear, without wrath or doubting. This means more to God than boisterous shouting. There are no greater riches on earth than Holy Ghost Treasure;
It cannot be calculated in terms of human carnal pleasure. Neither is material substance proof of its presence; Rather, a quickened spirit and glowing heart reveal its essence. We, as born-again believers, are a city on a hill that cannot be hid;
Try as we might, the Holy Spirit won’t be kept under a lid. Our “hold back strap” will most certainly break As our regenerate hearts struggle, as our Godly desires doth ache. If we suffer with Christ, with Him we shall also reign;
Trials and tribulations lead to a depth of love unfeigned. When our love for Christ and His Holy Word becomes our pleasant food, The trials of life, and all our troubles, work only for our good. A merciless taskmaster is ambition;
It drives the soul, and snatches it away from Godly contrition. Once its fetters attach to the human heart, It binds the soul to mammon, tearing it apart. Precious ears are listening to us each and every day;
Children and grandchildren watch and listen, as we pursue our own way. As we navigate through life’s waters, wave by wave, Frustration often accompanies us as we daily slave. Desiring those things we do not have, and do not need;
Yearning, and fretting because we do not have them: this can only be greed. It is covetousness on steroids - breaking the Tenth Commandment. A slap in the face to God’s provision, a sin against our own contentment. Our life is like a bridge over the river of time;
Every drop of water, leaf, and twig drifting under, echoes a similar rhyme. Everything caught in its currents never passes by again, Like fleeting moments, ever eluding our grasp, signaling the plight of men. |
