The Real World

There is a real world the natural world cannot see;
      They cannot see, touch, or taste it, but it is inside you and me.
The Kingdom of God is more real than the natural world today.
      It will endure forever; it shall never pass away.

The natural world is always changing, shifting with the seasons;
      Conforming to every passing lustful trend, without rhyme or reason.
“There are no moral absolutes,” its proponents boldly proclaim;
      “If it feels good, just do it; God will not ascribe to us any blame.”

“For I am the LORD, I change not,” the Bible points out;
      “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever;” so there is no doubt.
The natural, carnal world is headed for judgment and eternal damnation;
      “As it is appointed unto men once to die,” that goes also for our nation.

Every nation that forgets God, will be cast into Hell.
      The natural world cannot believe this; with them, it does not sit well.
“God loves us just the way we are,” they adamantly say,
      Not realizing they shall all be weeping and gnashing their teeth on Judgment Day.

Composed by Jim Newnam
Psalm 51:7
“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.”

The six-pointed Star of David is the symbol of the hyssop blossom. I have adopted the Star of David as an emblem of God’s Goodness and Salvation.
