If we suffer with Christ, with Him we shall also reign; Trials and tribulations lead to a depth of love unfeigned. When our love for Christ and His Holy Word becomes our pleasant food, The trials of life, and all our troubles, work only for our good. “The soul that suffers has ceased from sin.” God, from His Holy Word, shows us where holiness begins. Holiness begins when we would rather suffer than grieve the Holy Spirit, Denying our flesh and travailing in prayer to obtain God’s will in it. God’s will is only for our good, when we suffer for His glory; The well-being of our souls is the happy ending to this story. God, in His mercy, never hurts us or makes a mistake When we trust in Him and offer our all for Him to take. If we offer Him our all, and hold nothing back, He has promised to supply all our needs – we will suffer no lack. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, Our cups will overflow down here, and forever. Forever is a place where, with Him, we shall ever be; No longer as servants but as kings and priests, as the angels will see. The angels become our ministering spirits to help us reign As, with Christ, we rule the earth – we, no longer carnal, nor vain.
