God's grace cures disharmony & disorder in our relationships, as directly as we put our affairs, with their confusion and difficulties, into His hands. He begins to effect a cure which you can believe will cause you no more pain than a doctor, who plans and prescribes a cure, would cause his patient. You can have faith that God will do all that is necessary as painlessly as possible. But you must be willing to submit to his treatment, even if you cannot now see the meaning or purpose of it. Psalm 41:1-3 v.1 Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in times of trouble. v.2 The Lord will protect him and preserve his life; He will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. v.3 The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness. re-gard: a protective interest : care <has no regard for her health> Is anyone sick? In addition to calling for the elders to anoint and pray for them, let them have a protective interest for the weak. God will keep them while on their sickbed and restore them from the bed of illness. Is anyone going through a time of trouble? Let them show care for the weak. The Lord will deliver, protect, preserve, bless, and fight for them. God repeatedly declares, through the Law, the Prophets, the writings of David and Solomon, as well as the biographies such as Job, Esther, Ruth, that He holds the weak in a special regard, a protective interest, and those who share His heart for the weak, receive the same protection and care that the weak receive. When we are weak, He is made strong. His plan of full redemption, still working out in each of our lives, is only for those who recognize their need and are desperately seeking Him for who He is. His desire is to rescue us, and through us, to rescue others who are reaching out to Him. Though we are weak, we can do all things through Him who equips us to be strong and to stand in the gap for others. Job 23 v.10 But He knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. v.11 My feet have closely followed His steps; I have kept to His way without turning aside. v.12 I have not departed from the commands of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my daily bread. Father, thank You for Your love for us. Lord, thank You that You let us carry Your love to others. Thank You, God, that You have let us taste and see how good You are. We are, at this point, no different from children though we be heirs of all, and so we accept the training You take us through, that when You bring us into completeness and maturity, we will have those lessons that show us the way to go, and we will not then turn from it. 3H27W29U
