Trust in God. When He speaks to you through the personal, intimate, inner voice of the Spirit, and you hear Him confirm it through the many different sovereign ways He can use, through the Word as His Spirit opens it and makes it life to you, through the body of believers as they are moved by the Spirit, through mundane or secular channels as God's Spirit quickens it to your spirit, trust God and obey Him. Joel 1:14 Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord. If God directs you to release something that blocks you from drawing closer to Him and enjoying a fuller and deeper relationship, trust Him that He is not arbitrary or malicious; trust Him that He wants only good for you and has better things to offer in exchange for what you give up; trust Him that His love and mercy will not strand you part way but will give you the strength and endurance to walk it through to the end. Joel 2:13 Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and He relents from sending calamity. If God directs you embrace a challenge that will draw you deeper into communion with Him and build you up in faith and power of the Spirit, trust Him that He will be with you each step; trust Him that His arm of might will undergird you at all times; trust Him that He will not require more of you than He knows you are prepared to face and that His grace, working through you, will be sufficient. Psalm 128 v.1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in His ways. v.2 You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessing and prosperity will be yours. If God directs you through a spiritual battle or into a fiery trial for yourself or for others, trust Him that His Word is true and no weapon formed against you will prosper; trust Him that when you walk through the flame, you will not be burned nor will the fire kindle upon you; trust Him that the victory is already won and that he who endures to the end, bearing the praise of God on his lips, will receive the reward He has promised. Joel 3 v.10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, "I am strong!" v.11 ...Bring down your warriors, O Lord! Father God, we trust You today. In both word and deed, Lord, we show to those around us that Your Word is true and You are trustworthy in daily issues, and in life issues. We will be bold in You today, O Lord, that You may receive praise and glory. Thank You for backing Your Word with Your resources for it is to Your honor we seek to walk in obedience to Your will. 3L09G38U
