God is above and before all others. None compare to Him. He has created by His Word all that exists. All others will bow their knees and acknowledge His majesty. Some will resist to the end and kneel in defeat, receiving punishment for their rebellion; we choose to submit and kneel in adoration, receiving His embrace and love as we accept His gift. Psalm 67 v.1 May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face shine upon us, v.2 that Your ways may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations. His favor is upon us now to make sure His light reaches all areas, all corners, dispelling darkness wherever it lies. Not all will respond favorably, but all who will, will have the chance. Psalms 67 v.5 May the peoples praise You, O God; may all the peoples praise You. v.6 Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us. v.7 God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear Him As His praise is spoken, and sung, and whispered, and shouted, and written, and lived by more and more people in more and more places, God responds. He has as many different responses as there are people praising Him, but it is all by His pleasure to His purpose which is to bring together a Bride for His Son. The land within us will yield its harvest, our God will bless us, and all the earth, even to the ends, will reverently obey Him. Isaiah 43 v.1 "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are Mine. v.2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. v.3 For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead. v.4 Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you, and people in exchange for your life. v.5 Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. v.7 everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made. He has earned all the worship; it is His by right. It cannot rightfully be claimed by anyone else. He has ownership of each of us twice over. First by right of creation, and after we "gave" away what we did not own, through Adam, He paid the demanded asking price in full, which He did not owe, to re-establish His rightful claim by redemption. Who can deny God the right of honor and praise and majesty and glory? Isaiah 42 v. 8 "I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols. He did His work quietly, without fanfare, without exposure, and His work is still being done one to one, in the heart, person to person, for He wants a people drawn by love, not driven by power. Isaiah 42 v.1 "Here is My servant, whom I uphold, My chosen one in whom I delight; I will put My Spirit on Him and He will bring justice to the nations. v.2 He will not shout or cry out, or raise His voice in the streets. v.3 A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out. In faithfulness He will bring forth justice; v.4 He will not falter or be discouraged till He establishes justice on earth. In His law the islands will put their hope." As His disciples, we walk out the ministry that Jesus demonstrated. We show love, grace, mercy, we bring justice to those bound by the enemy and defend the defenseless by prayer, warring in the spirit, quietly winning corner after corner, each of which contain a prize, a treasure, a soul that Jesus died for and that God heard calling for help. Let us walk in His steps, obedient, thinking of His love for us, and looking for those He wants to share it with today, remembering the grace that He showed to us through someone else in time past, paying forward the debt of Love that we have received. Lord, help us to put aside judgment, respect of persons, viewing and understanding with our eyes and hearts and minds, but rather putting on the mind of Christ and carrying the love of God, and showing the grace and mercy of the Holy Spirit which dwells among us. You made us alive when we were dead in our transgressions and sins, and in our worship and praise of You, let us go forth to show Christ to others today. Thank you for letting us work in Your fields as we work at our jobs. 3I24R43U
