Psalm 60:5 Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered In the quiet of the garden to which God has called us for a time, He renews us. His balm soothes the aches and abrasions gathered from the daily pace at work and home. Through His ministrations, we regain confidence and strength. In His love, He draws us to abide in Him. As we come into harmony with God's Spirit, we move from the frenetic pace of the ever too-fast clock and the over-full appointment schedule that drains our energy, to the slower but stronger rhythms that nurture spiritual growth and a sense of divine fellowship and connection. Facing the world again, we confirm that our source is God rather than man. Confidence in God's grace allows us to face whatever comes; confidence in God's love gives us serenity and peace. We realize that we can rest in faith that God cares for us and will take care of us. As we carry a continuing sense of God's presence with us, we can feel the power of His life flowing through us. By abiding in His Spirit, we find spiritual fruit coming forth in our lives, attracting others who come for the refreshing and the healing that the living water carries as it flows from the throne of God through our lives to the outstretched hands of those in the dry wilderness, thirsting to be filled. Spiritual work, done in love as service, will reach into eternity, far beyond the here and now. Father, we need Your touch as we step out of the battle for a time to be renewed and refreshed in Your Spirit. Glorify Your name, O Lord, before the mighty and the proud of the world, that they will join us in acknowledging You above all others on the earth, above the earth, and beneath the earth. 3I16T36O
