The Training of God

Do you feel that you are living below your potential? Do you feel you could, or should, be doing more in God's work? Do you have a desire to accomplish great things in the kingdom of God?
You may be in training. God puts the desires and dreams in your heart, setting the passions in your life for the things that you can get "lost" in, forgetting time, and narrowing your focus so nothing outside intrudes.

Those things for which you would give up eating or do without sleeping in order to make the opportunity to do, these things call out the strengths that God places in you, that God wants to train in you, that God will use you in as you seek Him, yield to Him, allow Him to walk you through the experiences He has for you.

It does not always make sense, and at times appears to go in the opposite direction of the vision He has given you, or the promise you are carrying from Him, but since you know His love for you, there is no way you can doubt Him. He knows you, He cares deeply and passionately for you, He wants the best for you, and He has the resources to have His will done in your life, if you allow Him.

Luke 16
v.10 Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much...
v.11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?
v.13 No servant can serve two masters.
v. 15 ...What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight.

Let God place you, let Him train you, let Him grow in you those traits and strengths that He will use in His kingdom. Wear the world loosely, for in time it will fall away and His purpose and reality will be revealed.
Father God, You are faithful and trustworthy in all things. You have designed us for Your work and accepted us into Your plan. Thank You for walking with us step by step, daily, never forsaking us, but continually wooing us and delighting in us. We do not understand all that lies ahead of us, but we trust You, and strive to hear You speak to our hearts, and give You all the worship and praise for that is Your just due.
