1 Thessalonians 5:18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Let us stand in the promises and guidance of His word. This is our protection, our strength, our confidence, whether we are new to the Christian walk or we have lived in a rich, vibrant, loving relationship with God for years. 2 Peter 1 v.3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. v.4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. Even the king of Babylon was able to stand in the power of God's promises and acknowledge the might and the majesty of the Lord, but because he did not stay steadfast, in the end it profited him little. Daniel 4:37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble. Turn your eyes, your thoughts, your heart to the Lord, desire His desires, seek to walk in the Spirit of God. Just as you do what is needful each day in the world, giving to Caesar what is Caesar's, so also give to God daily that which is His. 2 Peter 1 v.10 So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away. v.11 Then God will give you a grand entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Father God, Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart. My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end. Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, I have more insight than all my teachers, I have more understanding than the elders for You Yourself have taught me. Accept, O Lord, the willing praise of my mouth and lead me in obedience to Your ways. 3K27G24
