Isaiah 30:15 In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength. All that we have need of can be found in God. He has made provision for us; we only have to trust and accept. When trials and troubles, problems or pain occupy us, we sometimes turn inward to fix it ourselves -- but Christ is the true vine and we must draw our life and strength from Him. Isaiah 30:18 Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him! (v.19) How gracious He will be when you cry for help! As soon as He hears, He will answer you. His desire is to be our source. He is not troubled when we call on Him. He delights, as a Father, when His child turns to Him for help rather than to someone else. It means that His child recognizes the love and supply of his Father. Isaiah 32:17 The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever. To be who and what God has planned for us to be, we must learn to walk in His righteousness as a child of God, one of His sons, confident in the love of God, walking in assurance of who we are and who our Father is. Isaiah 33:2 O Lord, be gracious to us; we long for You. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress. His grace accepts us as we are, imperfect and incomplete, yet knowing what He has planned for us to become. On the way there, we go through a lot of training. This daily training highlights "areas of opportunity for growth" so we will know what we need to work on. Whatever our needs are, God has the answer. He is the All-Sufficient God, and He will never run out of what we require to conquer ourselves and live the spiritually overcoming life that God intends for us. Isaiah 33:5 The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high; He will fill Zion with justice and righteousness. (v.6) He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure. Let the fear of the Lord, the reverential obedience to Him, open the door wide for the rich abundance that He has placed at our disposal. Dive in, yield your time and energy to Him, let Him speak wisdom and knowledge through you to meet the needs of those He brings your way. Let them taste the richness and goodness of God and see how good He can be. Let glory and praise be accredited to the Father. Isaiah 33:10 "Now will I arise," says the Lord. "Now will I be exalted; now will I be lifted up." His praise is in our hands to show forth and spread, or to keep in our pockets and do nothing. Let us chose to give away that which we cannot lose rather than try to keep that which we cannot own. Galatians 5:6 The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. Go forth into the world and express His love in complete trust of our Father Who will watch over us to confirm us as we go, and watch over His word to perform it as we proclaim it. O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You, my body longs for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen You in the sanctuary and beheld Your power and Your glory. Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You. I will praise You as long as I live, and in Your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods, with singing lips my mouth will praise You. On my bed I remember You; I think of You through the watches of the night. Because You are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings. My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me. 3I19J14H
