2 Corinthians 12:15 So I will very gladly spend for you everything I have, and expend myself as well. Isaiah 11 v.1 A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse: from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. v.2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him... v.3 and He will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what He sees with His eyes, or decide by what He hears with his ears v.4 but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice He will give decisions for the poor of the earth. v.10 In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to Him, and His place of rest will be glorious. Psalms 56 v.3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you. v.5 In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? v.8 Record my lament; list my tears on Your scroll -- are they not in Your record? v.9 Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me. v.13 For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life. Dear God, let that Spirit that was in Christ Jesus be in us as well. We want to be a small taste of heaven, a fragrance of the life and love of God for others that they would desire to see and know You, Lord. Let Your wisdom and understanding reach out to people through us in very practical ways and draw them to Your kingdom. As we fight our assigned battle against our carnal mind and fallen nature with the spiritual weapons You have given us, bringing every thought that exalts itself against Christ into obedience to You, aligning our wills with Your will, making our eye single, even so let our life be full of the light of heaven, shining from the throne of God that You establish in our lives as Your kingdom emerges on earth shining the light of victory and scattering the darkness of futility. 3I12J50H
