Creator and Redeemer

"Behold, I make all things new." He is the eternally creating, constantly creative God. He is without beginning or end, yet He is The Beginning and The End, the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last for us. His newness of life is the first thing we receive when salvation is planted in our hearts, and His hand will place the final pieces in position in our lives to complete His work of redemption.

He loosens the strands that tie us to the earth; He replaces the earthly desires that bind us to the material world and gives us the joy and freedom of a reborn soul and a renewed spirit that lifts us on unfettered wings to the heavenlies. Where we once thought we could only plod a dusty path, we find the load and weight of despair and grief is slipped from us and we are lifted on wings of praise and joy to the very throne-room of the Highest.

Just as He gives us joy and gladness to replace our sorrow and sighing, so He gifts us to speak strength, encouragement and comfort to those plodding in the dust that still contains our old footprints. We can give evidence of how clipped wings can grow again, and broken wings can regain a strength and beauty unknown before. Hope of a new freedom is available for anyone who can turn their eyes from earthly things and take the hand of the Lord beckoning them to a new life of victory and overcoming.

Father, You have been with us from the beginning, and will never forsake us, not even to the end of time and through eternity. We stand in Your strength through the trials You guard us through, knowing You will let nothing come to us that is greater than what You have prepared us to face. We accept from Your hand all that You have for us, knowing that Your lovingkindness never ends. You love those who stand in Your righteousness, and You will not forsake those faithful ones who endure to the end. We rest in You, knowing You hold our days in Your hand, and nothing can separate us from Your love.
