Psalm 30:5 For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

God is eternal and inhabits eternity. We have the seed of eternity planted in us when we come to an acceptance of our need for Jesus' salvation, but we still dwell in time and space, seeing through a glass darkly, seeing vaguely into the spiritual reality of the heavenlies.
