Isaiah 30:15 In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.
All that we have need of can be found in God. He has made provision for us; we only have to trust and accept. When trials and troubles, problems or pain occupy us, we sometimes turn inward to fix it ourselves -- but Christ is the true vine and we must draw our life and strength from Him.

Ecclesiastes 12
v.13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. v.14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. Spiritual change is a constant in the lives of people pressing in to a closer, deeper, richer walk in the Spirit of God. God will not ask more of us than we can give, but He often asks more of us than we want to give. When you find yourself feeling that way, take comfort in the fact that it puts you in good company. The story of Daniel in the lions' den is one that is taught in every Sunday school class as children are growing up. Rather than focus on the essentials that we all know of the story, let's look at some of the side issues around it that are not often mentioned.
